One way to describe The Seventh Miss Hatfield is as a cross between Pride and Prejudice with Doctor Who. We’re dealing with a young girl who grows up very quickly in strange circumstances and then becomes something of a time traveler.
The “Seventh” in the title relates not to timelord regenerating but because our hero is the 7th of the people to hold the title Miss Hatfield. She’s far more fragile than the Doctor and soon finds herself in a boat load of trouble.
